The usual suspects
Two friends. Two coasts. One cookie jar nobody could keep full.
A tray went missing off a windowsill in Huntington. Four kids blamed each other. Nobody ever confessed, and we've been baking evidence ever since.
Menu
Six regulars, plus four new suspects every Monday. Every cookie is about the size of your palm and baked in the shop you pick it up from.

Who took the cookies off the windowsill?
Jason and Joseph met in Huntington, New York, back in 1985, when Joseph traded his entire lunch for one of Jason's mom's chocolate chunk cookies. Bad trade. Best friends ever since.
Joseph eventually moved to the West Coast. Jason never left New York. They still talk every single day, usually on speakerphone, usually about nothing, usually while one of them is stuck in traffic.
Then came the kids: Jason's Jack and Ava, Joseph's Joey and Paige. One summer, all four got together for the first time in a backyard back in Huntington. Within an hour, a full tray of cookies cooling on the kitchen windowsill was gone.
Jack blamed Joey. Joey blamed Paige. Paige blamed Ava. Ava blamed Jack. Crumbs were found on all four suspects. The interrogation went on for days, mostly over FaceTime between two coasts, and nobody ever confessed.
When Joey and Paige flew home, Jack and Ava mailed them a box of cookies with a note: Your turn to steal. They mailed one back. The boxes kept crossing the country, and the recipe got a little better every trip.
Cookie Thief opened as a small window at 30-06 34th Street in Astoria. Today it's nine shops across New York with boxes shipping to all 48 states, and Jason and Joseph still argue about whose kid did it.
The case is still open. Come help us investigate.
